At the 93rd Academy Awards, which held 25th of April, famous actress Halle Berry was spotted on the red carpet with a new and unexpected appearance. The Twitter community had a few thoughts on the matter, and you won’t believe the Oscar winner’s response to them.

The American actress came in grand style at the 2021 Oscar show, wearing a pretty berry-colored, strapless gown adorned with jewels by Ridano. The actress came along with her musician boyfriend, who she has been dating officially since 2020.
At the event, Berry presented the award for Best Production Design to the winners, Donald Graham Burt and Jan Pascale, for their work in Mank.
In 2002, Berry was awarded an Oscar for her role in Monster's Ball, making her the first woman of color to win the Best Actress in a Leading Role category.
While speaking to Variety Magazine in 2020, Berry mentioned that Cynthia Erivo, the star of Harriet and Ruth Negga, who was nominated for a movie she did 5 years ago called Loving, deserved to win. She felt there were definitely other people who deserved to win now more than she did in the past, and she has also expressed some disappointment that in the past 20 years, no other female actors of color have managed to win the same award.

Berry, however, was not nominated for any of the awards this year but quickly became the talk of the internet because of her red carpet appearance, particularly her hairstyle, which featured a short bob with bangs and appeared as if she had cut the hair herself.
Generally, fans expect a certain level of flamboyance from celebrities, and many times the celebrities tend to deliver their expectations. However, Berry came out and delivered the most unexpected appearance from a star at her level. It goes without saying that her fans would have a lot to say about it.
Despite the critical comments from fans and social media trolls regarding her appearance, she ended up being the one having the most fun out of it. When @troyellas posted a video on Twitter of someone throwing a jab at Halle Berry and making fun of her because of the short bob hair and baby bangs she debuted at the Oscars, Berry shocked everyone by quoting the tweet to send tired and laughing emojis.

The Twitter user was unarguably stunned as well, and it was evident in the exclaimed response, saying, “Oh my God!?!?” They obviously didn't expect the Oscar winner to bother to respond, whether with a negative or positive comment, so one can only imagine how excited the user must have been seeing a response to their tweet from a famous celebrity.
Berry also had a lot of fun with the comments she received, she clearly didn’t need to respond or validate anyone’s opinions on her appearance, but she did, and it was fun.
